Any mermaid fans out there?  If you’re local to Bournemouth and expecting a baby in March/April 2018 get in touch to book an exclusive Rock the Bump ‘Little Mermaid’ belly bowl casting session.

Your bump cast will be artistically transformed to resemble a beautiful pearlescent oyster shell with shimmering pink hues or shimmering sea blue/greens on the inside of the bowl that can then be used as a prop in your precious baby's newborn photography session with your very own little mermaid (or merman!) safely snuggled up in your belly bowl wearing a beautifully soft, crocheted mermaid tail created especially for Rock the Bump by the fabulous local textile artist with mad crochet skills, Tilly Lilly.  I will only be offering a limited number of these packages in 2018.  If you have already booked your newborn photographer I would be happy to work with them or I can arrange for one of my own newborn photographer contacts to do the photography for you. The Rock the Bump 'Little Mermaid' package could work equally well for a baby boy or girl depending on your colour choices for artwork and the mermaid tail.

The best time to create a bump cast is from around 37 weeks.  A £45 deposit is required to secure your booking with the balance payable on the day of your bump casting session.

 Happy New Year!  Thank you to everyone who took the time to visit my website and to my friends (old and new) and family for your endless and unquestioning support for me and my ventures.

2017 saw Rock the Bump join forces with the fabulous Claire at Light Touch Massage Therapy and the first ever Dorset Bump to Baby Show, I had the pleasure of casting my first celebrity bump and even got a mention in OK! Magazine UK!  I created beautiful bump casts and belly bowls for 14 lovely mummies who came from near and far, seeing me travel to Oxfordshire and Kent and mummies from Bath, Sussex and Hertfordshire travelling to sunny Bournemouth especially for their Rock the Bump pregnant belly casting experience.  2017 also saw collaborations with the fantastically talented Maxine Davies Photography and Snug Creations and the start of something new with collaborations with Tilly Lilly and Miguel Issa in the pipeline for 2018.

Thanks again for your love, support and encouraging words.  2017 was a good year but a busy and stressful one as I continue to juggle running my own businesses with family life and being a mum to my three happy little hooligans.  My New Year's Resolution is to try and find a way to relax... oh, and to start using Buffer... But, for now, there's coffee.
